The Juvenile Community Accountability Board (JCAB) is a program at the Albany County Probation Department that helps juveniles understand how crime impacts their neighborhoods.
The program tries to give them an opportunity to repair the harm they may have caused by doing a crime. All board members are volunteers in the community and there is no cost to training.
On Saturday, Jan. 28 ?A Restorative Approach to Address Juvenile Crime? will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Albany County Probation Department. (60 South Pearl Street, Albany).
Continental breakfast will be provided as well as all training materials.
